Transmission lines need to be inspected according to regulation periodically. A minimum clearance for vegetation is essential to prevent flashovers. A Qube240 system was used for UAV LiDAR mapping on thin 20 kV lines, inspecting and mapping the corridor comprising lines, poles, and vegetation.
